Posy

My husband and I had the most wonderful weekend celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary at The Posy. Everything from start to finish exceeding our expectations. I was slightly worried about the logistics of staying in a Shepard’s hut with my husband being 6’5 but that wasn’t an issue at all, although it’s compact it’s brilliantly designed and there was more than enough space. All the facilities from the hut it’s self down to the crockery were great quality and that was noticed and appreciated. All the added extra such as shortbread biscuits and eggs from the chickens were lush. The setting itself was beautiful, from watching and listening to nature whilst enjoying breakfast that had been cooked in the outdoor kitchen, getting a visit from one of the chickens, to the evenings in the tub looking at the clear sky and stars was the highlight. Susan and Mervin were great hosts, welcoming, kind, knowledgeable but as stated in the description completely unobtrusive. I could go on and on, it was the most perfect weekend, I’d love to go back in the autumn/winter for a snuggly stay too! The only downfall to The Posy was having to leave! ...

Excellent stay! Beautiful place with beautiful views

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Posy. It was perfect and just what we needed. The posy had everything you could possibly need and all the little touches were lovely. The owners were brilliant hosts and always on hand if you needed anything. The hot tub was amazing! Would 110% recommend this stay ?? ...

We had a great stay at Posy. The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating. The hut itself is immaculately clean, lovely, warm and cosy and the outdoor kitchen and wood fire tub, divine! Even in a storm with gale force winds, we were snug and cosy inside with the wood burner. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and hope to go back again. ...
