Pooks cottage is a beautiful Thached cottage in a lovely village. Traffic does pass by the front door and the street is narrow. But the stable door can be left shut at the bottom for safety of dogs and children when indoors. A drive of about 20 minutes can take you to lovely almost deserted beaches (off season) that are dog friendly. Visit the Thached Taven at Maidencolmbe for a lovely meal and take your dog too.
