The sleek and contemporary kitchen/diner is well-equipped with everything you need to create those fabulous holiday breakfasts or lazy evening suppers.

Head up the narrow, steep stairs and you are straight into the gorgeous sitting-room complete with roaring wood-burner, perfect for those chillier days.

Plan your days out whilst gathering to enjoy delicious food; the stable-door can be opened wide on balmy summer evenings if you fancy a spot of al fresco dining in the sunshine.

The oak beams are all originals and have been lovingly restored.
There is a handy desk area if you fancy sitting somewhere quiet and penning a postcard back home.

Once an old pilchard press, it has been lovingly refurbished to offer a chic and cosy retreat for four lucky guests.

There are lovely areas throughout the cottage, this window seat has a little rope around it because its located at the top of the stairs, we wouldn't want any children harming themselves.

Outside the property there is a private courtyard area, where you can enjoy a spot of lunch in the sunshine or a cocktail before heading into Mousehole for a bite to eat.
Take a meander to Newlyn to buy fresh fish from the numerous shops there.

The coastal path to Lamorna is one of the prettiest you will find anywhere in Cornwall.
Around this area there are many wonderful walks from Mousehole.
The Ship Inn (overlooks the harbour) is a traditional Cornish village pub. Enjoy a beer whilst looking out over the harbour.
Please note that The Hideaway has a steep staircase (typical of Cornish cottages) with a small ledge at the top, so care is needed.

A comfortable, stylish property in a lovely location, however the seagulls were particularly noisy when we were there! Lots of walks from the doorstep and a good bus service meant no car was required.

Private and beautifully restored fishermen’s cottage with every convenience in the most charming fishing village in Cornwall. Two large king sized bedrooms each with its own completely new bathroom. Very well located for restaurants and sightseeing. We loved our stay at the Hideaway and we’re coming back soon!...

The Hideaway is a beautifully appointed cottage hidden away about 150 yards from the harbour in Mousehole. It is well equipped and comfortable. It was the perfect base for our holiday.

An exceptional find on the Classic Cottages website that lived up to the description and photos. Such a stylish and comfortable cottage with all mod cons. Despite it being close to the busy harbour, it remained a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle (with the exception of the waking seagulls first thing in the morning)!...
