We had a fabulous stay here! The location is fantastic, with lots to do in close proximity. The grounds of Mount Edgcumbe are beautiful and we couldn’t believe how lucky we were to have full access to explore the grounds. The views from the hut were also amazing! The hut its self is simple yet comfortable and does have everything you need. The only thing we would say is that the toilet/shower facilities could be improved. ...

Outstanding views. The whole hut felt tired, the steps at the front into the hut felt unsafe due to them starting to rot.
The hut needed a REALLY good clean especially the kitchen area. It spoilt would could have been a wonderful weekend.

We loved our stay at Lynher hut, honestly it was just lovely. We were in our own little world - no contact with anyone or anything, except the friendly alpacas down the hill if we wanted a chat. The coffee and breakfast in the Foundry cafe on site at Edgcumbe was outstanding and we had a very enjoyable few days. Loved our little boat trips from Cremyll quay into Plymouth. The pub was super friendly and fab drinks and food. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others or to return ! ...
