I had a wonderful stay in the shephard's hut........it was the best last minute decision and I loved every bit of it! The weather was in my favour which made it even better, it was peaceful, simple and relaxing, everything I enjoy! The views were stunning too, it was so nice being able to walk through the deer parks, wooded areas, see the sea and coastline and visit the formal gardens. I also took the little ferry over to Plymouth which was fun.

We booked for the Mount Edgcumbe Classic Car show.....and our Birthday weekend...perfect views in a stunning location....it was amazing waking upto such peaceful bliss....

Tamar hut was an incredible place to stay. It’s so cosy and you really feel like you are away from it all! There’s an alpaca farm at the bottom of the hill and you are so close to lovely beaches and pubs. Will definitely come back.

Loved the views even with the gales that shut the park down and or the torrential rain that hammered the hut. The stove was wonderful at keeping us toasty and warm as we watched the weather fly past us. The views are mesmerizing and we could have sat on our steps for hours with our cups of tea.
Having the grounds almost all to ourselves was wonderful and exploring all that was on our doorstep was part of the charm of staying at the Hut.

Thank you again to you all for a wonderful stay. P.S the pub down the road served wonderful drinks and delicious food.

It is a beautiful location and the huts are very cute and comfortable. We rented both huts with another family and it was so peaceful to have the whole place to ourselves. It felt very special - particularly in the evening when the Estate was closed - to feel as though we were the only people about! There are views of Plymouth to the right and beautiful sweeping Cornish countryside to the left.

Quite tiny huts, but with a great view. The interior is designed in an intelligent way, basically everything you need is there. There is even water near the hut. Even though you live near a big town, especially at night there are very few people in the area of the Mount Edgcumbe Park. Be aware of small ticks in the grass around the huts, and the nessels
