We had a lovely October half term break at the Cowshed. Beautifully converted and decorated barn conversion with lovely views in rural location but only a few minutes drive from Chard and it’s facilities. Garden is private, secure for the dog and prettily lit at night. Beautiful ‘hidden’ en-suite shower rooms and spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds and luxurious bedding. There was a storm while we were away so we hunkered down for the day (daughter’s birthday) and enjoyed the comfort of the property. We had a lovely walk around Chard reservoir as well as visiting our favourites - Lyme Regis, Charmouth beach, Beer and Sidmouth. Would like to stay at the Cowshed again and have already recommended to friends....
