We enjoyed our stay at Primrose cottage very much.Lovely coastal theme to decor and a great, secret garden with a view over countryside, ideal for evening relaxing.Great pub in walking distance and cafes and ice-cream down the hill in Portscatho, with its harbour and beach.Ideal base for visiting the wonderful Lost Gardens of Heligan, Trelissick Garden via the King Harry ferry and tasty food at the Hidden Hut....

Miss Andrews August 2025

It was a lovely cottage, however we had challenges with hot water supply for the 4 of us and the garden was too far away. We were stopped from entering the garden via the normal route and asked to go via the Old Chapel which felt very uncomfortable so we did not use the garden after the second day. Whilst a lovely cosy cottage with all the things you need for a break away we will look for an alternative when visiting next year. ...

Mr Howe June 2025

This is a well decorated cosy cottage that was spotlessly clean and the owners had made the best out of the space available. Kitchen very well equipped. We made use of the garden space to sit and have meals. It was let down by the lounge furniture and the tiny sink in the bathroom. These had received negative feedback from previous hirers over a couple of years but nothing has been done and needs addressing. That spoils what is an otherwise nice cottage in a good location for lovely walks and access to the coast. ...

It is lovely to see you enjoyed the charm of Primrose Cottage and how well the design of the cottage added to your holiday experience. You will be pleased to hear that the owners have renovated the bathroom, and it now features an enlarged basin as well as a walk-in shower. We're sorry the Loaf sofas were not quite what you had expected and hope they were comfortable. Alfresco dining is such a treat when on holiday! Sarah, Customer Support...

Mrs Hussain September 2024

This is the first time that I have booked a holiday home through Classic Cottages and I was really pleasantly surprised. This cottage felt like good value for money. Everything was very clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen was particularly well equipped with appliances of a good spec. We chose the sunniest September week to stay so we made good use of the garden and the lovely summer house which is a really nice touch. We dined at The Standard Inn and Plume of Feathers both of which I'd highly recommend and of course Hidden Hut for lunch....

Mr Donaldson June 2024

An exquisite cottage perfect for two or a young family. Lovely quiet area with lots to do and see - walking, swimming etc. and places close by such as St Mawes and Falmouth good to visit. Portscatho is a lovely village with some gems of eating places. Service from Classic Cottages in terms of communication and the basics provided for cleaning and cooking in the cottage was excellent. Looking forward to returning. ...
