A lovely cottage situated situated in peaceful Gurnard, with a 20 minute walk along the Solent to Cowes.

We enjoyed our week at Starboard Side Cottage. It is well located a 5 minute walk to Gurnard beach and around 30 minute walk along the coast to Cowes. It has been very tastefully decorated and the kitchen is well equipped. The beds are comfy and it was clean. BUT, be aware that it is VERY small! There are only three chairs in the sitting room (a small two seater sofa and and a small armchair) and there are no dining chairs around the small table in the kitchen so there is no where for four people to sit or eat. We walked to the beach where there are picnic benches which was fine in sunny weather but obviously not ideal! ...
