The Thatched Cottage was just perfect in every way for us! The location is great, you can walk along the lanes to the local pub or along the main roads & parklands in to Barnstaple. You feel like you are in the middle of the countryside yet have everything you need within walking distance. The cottage was comfortable & well stocked with everything you could possibly think of - but usually forget to pack! It was ideal for us as a family of 5 adults & 2 dogs but equally welcoming & practical for a families with young children or groups of couples. A gem of a find! ...

Thatched cottage is unbelievabley pretty. It's beautifully decorated and furnished and very comfortable. Lots of extras throughout. A lovely secure garden for the dogs which is always a priority. We have been staying in cottages for over 20 years and this has to be the best....
