Thatched Cottage was just beautiful. The best holiday voyage we have stayed in. It was clean and comfortable and the owners were on hand to answer any questions we had and left some very lovely welcome gifts of homemade scones and other treats. Beautiful garden too. ...

The property is very lovely and Gillian was extremely helpful and very efficient in her communications. Lovely welcome gifts and touches, including treats for our dogs and home made scones for us. A lot of thought had been put into making sure we had a comfortable stay, which was much appreciated. The garden was fully secure for the dogs and being able to open the patio doors and let them safely into the garden was perfect for us! Great walks from the door. Would happily visit again....

The most beautiful cottage, exceptional decorated. We had the most relaxing stay. Kitchen well equipped, comfortable beds and sofas. Thank you to the owner Gillian for being so quick to answer any questions we had. Homemade scones and dog treats on arrival were a lovely touch. Box of dog toys and throws for the sofa for our dog Alfie to sit on. Gillian really has thought of everything!...

This cottage the best we have stayed in - it is a beautiful cottage with all the things you need and more. Good location to walk into Barnstaple and visit the surrounding area. Such a welcome surprise of home made scones, treat for the dog, a little teddy bear for our baby grandson and a lovely drink chilling in the fridge. We will definitely be back.
