I spent a week here and wouldn't recommend at all. Far too remote for my liking and the roads leading to the property are one track and very dangerous. Nearest shops are roughly 9 miles away. The site is not suitable for kids with absolutely nothing on site although several theme parks within a ten mile radius

We were delighted to arrive and stay at Nudli lodge. Fresh, clean and beautiful spot and surroundings. It was very well kitted out and we felt very at home for our stay. Once we had worked out the geography and road networks avoiding long lane routes it was much simpler to access. Worth exploring for more walks and other seaside locations. Can highly recommend Nudli for others to see for themselves.

GOULD PREHOLIDAY INFORMATION AND ONCE BOOKING WAS MADE VERY GOOD FOLLOW UP. WOULD USE CLASSIC COTTAGES AGAIN. ACCOMADATION WAS BETTER THEN EXPECTED, ALTHOUGH A BIT OFF THE BETTEN TRACK
Mrs Todd July 2022
A pleasant stay, though note that it is remote and about 5 miles from the nearest coop. Beds comfortable. Unfortunately the bathrooms need tidying up, the original bathroom suite is still in place. However, if the price is right a lovely park to stay on.

If you are looking for a very remote relaxing break then this is for you. Make sure you bring all your food with you. The kitchen is fully kitted out for all that you need. The decking surround is not suitable for small dogs, they can escape! This means that you either need to have eyes at the back of your head or keep the door closed. The shower is great and the water pressure is very good. Each lodge has its own piece of land so not easy to walk the dogs without walking on your neighbours land and getting shouted at! The lodge is very clean and made to feel very much home from home. The owners have thought of everything, proving extensions leads, toiletries, slippers, extra blankets, torch and radio to name just a few.

Thanks so much for your review. We're so pleased you found this lodge to be a home from home for you and we really hope you enjoyed the tranquil setting. Thanks for mentioning the decking; unfortunately, our four-legged friends can be great escape artists and we would always encourage you to keep a close eye on your pets during your stay. However, as the lodge is set within 9 acres of woodland there are some great walks right on the doorstep to keep them happy! We so hope to welcome you back again in the future. Ms Aris October 2021
Ideal cottage if looking for peace and quiet.
Miss Levett October 2021
We enjoyed our stay and liked eating out on the verandah
Miss Mahaffey October 2021
Great lodge in a secluded location. All home comforts included & the added bonus of a food package was great (bread, butter, milk, jam & clotted cream). For a change we did cook, this was because the lodge was well equipped for kitchen equipment. If i had to pick 1 negative, it would be just some areas where i felt cleaning could have been improved. But overall a fantastic experience and we would return back again.
Mrs Broadhurst September 2021
Great communication with the owners and would recommend to anybody as this was a lovely place to stay
Ms Hamilton September 2021
Thank you dear Nudli for allowing us to stay in your lodge, you are a very lucky doggy!!! What a joy it was for us. I cannot recommend the lodge more. So peaceful and quiet. The lodge had absolutely everything you could possibly wish for and was SO comfortable! I wanted to bring the bed home with me! We had dinner at The Hoop Inn about 5 miles away, a 13th century thatched country hotel and had the best meal ever (very reasonable for the quality of food too). Back to Nudli's Lodge though. Thank you o much for a wonderful few days away in the most wonderful holiday accommodation.
Mrs Turner September 2021
A lovely tranquil location and a great base for exploring North Devon and Cornwall. The lodge is beautifully styled with comfortable beds and sofas, well equipped kitchen and the outdoor area was safe for the dog as it was enclosed. The complimentary welcome local food package (bread, Cornish butter, eggs, jam, milk and dog biscuits) plus toiletry items were a nice touch and gave it a luxury feel. There is a smart TV and DVD player, along with a selection of dvds, board games and magazines for entertainment. Definitely follow the instructions provided and stay on the A39 until you reach the sign for West Yagland when arriving or you’ll be on some pretty rough roads! Would highly recommend eating at the Hopps Inn (A39 towards Bideford) the Sunday roast was superb. The only downside was the lack of woodland walks as the areas are fenced off which was disappointing. We enjoyed our stay at Nudli’s lodge.
Miss Daysh August 2021
We thought the lodge was just lovely and enjoyed meeting people from surrounding lodges - it was a welcoming, restful and attractive place to stay.
Mrs Taylor July 2021
It was like a home from home with all the little extras that was there for us to use and nice to have bread, milk, eggs , butter and jam waiting for us.
Mrs Keeley July 2021
What a Gem of a property, everything you could ask for, even towels and bowls for our dog. The lodge is in a lovely tranquil location, turn LEFT from the park and in 6 mins you are on the main road A39 to either Bude or Bideford which are both a 25 mins drive. Clovelly is only a 15 mins drive. There is a table and chairs on the verander for outside eating which is all enclosed so our dog could not escape. On arrival we had a food parcel of bread, milk, eggs, jam and butter, tea and coffee so thoughtful. Even fresh flowers on the dining table. If your looking for a relaxing break away from it all then I would definitely recommend, we had an amazing time and cant wait to go back. Tamar Lakes which is only 20 mins away was great for kayaking we even took our dog out on the lake.
Mrs Freeman June 2021
We liked the the peace and tranquillity. Good for touring both North Devon and into Cornwall. Lovely little homely touches. Nice little food hamper
Mr Frost June 2021
This place would be perfect for someone requiring a very remote area .The lodge itself was imacculate and very well equipped.Driving around the very poor condition and narrow lanes would not do much good to a decent car.
