The village shop is just around the corner, ideal for picking up your morning croissant, or an ice-cream, and here you will also find the village pub.
The trendy sailing town of Fowey is within easy access whether by road or water!
There's a great choice of beautiful beaches along the south coast.
Take a trip to Lanhydrock to visit the historic house, gardens and parkland (National Trust).

We loved our holiday in this very quiet spot. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable. The only issue was a slight problem with a lack of hot water on 2 occasions. We enjoyed visiting Polkerris beach, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the local walks to St Winnow and coastal path walks . I would suggest that you revise the mileage to local places such as Fowey. These maybe correct as the crow flies but you do often need to go down very narrow lanes which takes a long time. We found it better to go via Lostwithiel which is a longer route but avoids most of the very small lanes. That said it is a very beautiful and peaceful spot. Thanks for a lovely holiday....
