This is the most delightful large but small 2 bed cottage. The view is breath-taking and I took my morning coffee outside on the balcony every day. If you have a paddleboard or kayak most certainly bring it to enjoy the tidal River. Under the bridge in early morning King fishers could be found! Parking right outside everyday. Tide reaches back wheels of car (at 5.2m Fowey chart) but never caused us issue, in fact it was quite a novelty guessing how high up it would reach in the road and wading through in flip flops to the other end of the lane! The kitchen diner is a fantastic size and can be used as a second lounge with sofa and tv. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and we even baked scones. The lounge is comfortable and roomy for 4 people. The master room is very large with good sized ensuite and lovely views. The 2nd room was suitable for our 2 teens and they h Ave managed to fit in a good sized set of draws for clothes, but maybe not fir 2 adults unless you travel light. There is a washer and separate dryer located off large family bathroom, even a small drying rack. The under counter fridge is quite a good size but there is no separate freezer which means little frozen items can be stored only. We would highly recommend to all and indeed would return to this property again based on its idyllic location and comfortable size for a family of 4. The lively pub was fun for a sing-a-long and the local little shop had amazing pasties freshly made each day. With a few updates of cooking pans and furnishing detailing this really is 100% fantastic property. Thank you ??...

We stayed at Tansy as a retired couple and found it very comfortable. We were lucky with the weather and sat out on the patio watching the tide come and go and passing the time chatting with locals and other holiday makers alike. We took the cushions out and were very comfortable sitting out there and of course a coffee, pasty or ice-cream are all only 2 minutes walk away at the village shop. The kitchen is wery well equipped and we cooked most days finding evereything we needed for preparing meals. We took several local walks, the Tivoli Fountain and grounds were very well worth visiting in the woods, we walked to St Winnow and back twice; I would advise there and back along the coast rather than back 'over the hill' unless you really love stiles!!! Nice little cafe van at St Winnow. Further afield we drove to Lantic Bay National Trust car-park for a lovely walk, and then down to Polruan, also Restormel Castle (EH) and Lanhydrock (NT). We took the car farry from Bodinnick to Fowey and on to Coombe Farm NT carpark for a strenous but delightful walking loop, see the board in the carpark. Lostwithiel is a small town, free parking and nice to see the Duchy Palace and St Bartholomew's Church and, of course, the old bridge. High tides were the highest all year but produced no worry as parking was easy and safe by the village hall and we had the back, or is it the front, door. There is no real need to simply use Lerryn as a hub and drive off all over Cornwall every day, just stay fairly local and enjoy the area; we even took advantage of the warm welcome to join in the T'ai Chi class in the hall on Friday mornings. ...

We had a great week in Tansy. Lerryn is a little gem, off the tourist trail and completely peaceful and laid back. A true haven for wildlife, watching the tides and exploring the estuary. It is a very friendly village, excellent pub and handy village shop. We would definitely return to Lerryn, it is a special place. ...

We had a lovely time at Tansey, it was clean and well equipped and Lerryn is amazing! The cottage is quirky and you have to be careful of the steps leading up to the bedrooms. The views from the kitchen and bedroom are great and you can park the car right outside the property which is a bonus. Such a lovely village and watching the tide is mesmerizing. There are nice walks alongside the estuary and you can walk over the other side via the stepping stones too. The Ship Inn was excellent along with the village shop (both just yards away) handy for the daily papers and essentials. Fowey is advertised on the Tansy website as being 3 miles away and it is if you take the 'short route' down extremely narrow farmer's tracks/lane and via the Boddinick Ferry (£10 return fare). We did it once only and it was scary and thereafter took the longer route via Lostwithiel which takes about 20/25. Our initial draw to choosing Tansy was its closeness to Fowey, it did not matter in the end as we had a lovely time but if you really need to be close to Fowey it would be a concern. All in all we had a wonderful week at Lerryn and would return....

We had a fabulous time at the cottage, we spent a week in lovely Lerryn and fell in love with the place and the cottage! The cottage exceeded expectations, it had everything we needed and more, lots of great descriptions of things to do, also plenty of books, videos and games for rainy days. The kitchen was superbly equipped. The interior decor was beautiful. We loved the peacefulness and the view of the river from the front terrace, kitchen and bedroom was stunning! We highly recommend and are definitely hoping to come back...
