We had a fabulous time at the cottage, we spent a week in lovely Lerryn and fell in love with the place and the cottage! The cottage exceeded expectations, it had everything we needed and more, lots of great descriptions of things to do, also plenty of books, videos and games for rainy days. The kitchen was superbly equipped. The interior decor was beautiful. We loved the peacefulness and the view of the river from the front terrace, kitchen and bedroom was stunning! We highly recommend and are definitely hoping to come back

Had a great week in Tansy , weather was good so meant we often spent the late afternoon / early evening with a drink (coffee or beer - mainly beer !! ) watching what was happening on the river, which was so relaxing and peaceful , even when little was actually happening !!!

Cottage was really well equipped and had everything we wanted or could think of !!!
Thanks for the milk and cookies !!

Everyone in the village was very friendly and we enjoyed 3 visits for meals to the pub , where again it was very welcoming and friendly , and took less than a minute to walk to ( door to door ) - Excellent !!!

Corner shop was very handy and did some rather good bacon rolls !

Would revisit without any hesitation !

Tansy Cottage is a very homely and comfortable cottage. We felt at home as soon as we walked. The location is wonderful, the people friendly. There are plenty of places of interest to explore. Lerryn is well-worth a visit.

Very beautiful location, very comfortable cottage with everything very well thought out. We absolutely loved it.

Tansy cottage is perfection in a wonderful location we did not want to leave.

We loved our holiday in this very quiet spot. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable. The only issue was a slight problem with a lack of hot water on 2 occasions. We enjoyed visiting Polkerris beach, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the local walks to St Winnow and coastal path walks . I would suggest that you revise the mileage to local places such as Fowey. These maybe correct as the crow flies but you do often need to go down very narrow lanes which takes a long time. We found it better to go via Lostwithiel which is a longer route but avoids most of the very small lanes. That said it is a very beautiful and peaceful spot. Thanks for a lovely holiday.

Thanks so much for taking the time to review Tansy and for your recommendations of places to visit, which we are sure will prove to be super helpful for future guests. We were so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at this lovely property, but we're sorry that there was a small issue with the hot water running out on a couple of occasions - we haven't had any other reports to date that there could be a problem, but we'll certainly ensure that this looked into, so thank you for letting us know. Loved the location it was so peaceful to sit on the front having a brew watching the tide and all the boats and kayaks coming an going. The location was good as well for us to have days out without too long in the car travelling. The Ship in pub round the corner had amazing food and service so did the local shop There were also lovely little walks around the village for the time your don't want to travel. The house its self had everything that you would need for a self catering holiday and was lovely clean and well presented.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Tansy Cottage. Lerryn is a beautiful location away from the crowds. The cottage itself is lovely and a great base for exploring nearby places. Watching the tidal river is fascinating. The cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The housekeeper was very helpful and the owner’s quick response to a query was much appreciated. It’s definitely on our list of places to visit again.

We had a fabulous time at Tansy. Such a special place. Beautifully clean and comfortable. Lerryn itself is a mesmerising place with the gentle ebb and flow of the tides. The view from the cottage is spectacular. Special thank you to housekeeper Sally who sent on my shorts by post after I left them in the en-suite bathroom! Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Fantastic property in a stunning location, the ideal place to enjoy the surrounding countryside and river.

We have just returned from a very enjoyable week in Tansy. It's a lovely cottage in an idyllic location. We spent many hours with a coffee or a glass of wine sitting on the terrace watching the activity on the river. The cottage was spotlessly clean on arrival and the kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday. It was a pleasure to return to the peaceful village of Lerryn after a busy day out.

Tansy is a beautiful and well equipped cottage, with plenty of space, so you aren’t under each other’s feet! We loved sitting on the terrace with breakfast in the morning, watching the world go by. The view is perfect and we still miss it! There’s an amazing shop close to the cottage, which sold everything we needed, and they also had bacon rolls, hot pasties, quiche and plenty of cakes. Half a stone heavier, we are now home from our holiday, but we will be back!
