The Shippon is comfortable. The owners have given a great deal of time and effort to make your visit enjoyable - plenty of suggestions of places to visit, eat and walk. The isolation brings proper 'dark skies' experience. Step out of the front door - fresh air, tors to tempt you to stride out, and the ability to drive to explore further. We throughly enjoyed our stay at The Shippon, the views were wonderful with the added bonus of direct access to the moor. The house was well equipped and comfortable, and we appreciated interesting details in the decor and design. Very friendly and helpful host. The Kingsize bed in the main bedroom was excellent: we slept very well! Beautiful setting. We were happy with everything. We enjoyed also the logburner in the evenings. The cottage is in an excellent condition.
