As above. Will also be posting a review on trustpilot as I have read several times that you do not publish bad reviews and I am extremely angry that such an expensive property fell very short of our expectations.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback following your stay at Challadene. We are very sorry that the property did not meet expectations, particularly as your holiday was to celebrate such a special anniversary. We completely understand how disappointing this must have been. We have followed up with the company responsible for housekeeping and maintenance on behalf of the Owner. They have confirmed that they will speak with both the housekeeping team and the relevant tradespeople about the concerns raised, so that these can be properly reviewed and addressed. A handyman was also asked to attend the property and inspect the cooker ignition; following their checks, they confirmed that it was working as it should. Your comments about the toaster and the number of wine glasses have also been taken on board, and a new four-slice toaster and additional wine glasses have now been ordered for the property. Please be assured that your comments have been taken seriously and shared with the owner and relevant teams. Thank you again for bringing these points to our attention. Classic Cottages...

Our stay at Challadene never lets us down, it was the same this year. The most fabulous of locations and the house is so well equipped with everything you would need. Brilliant base for children of all ages. The proximity to the beach makes it very easy to holiday here with children too. Our older children loved the caravan for a bit of independence ...
