Third stay at this lovely cottage in an excellent location for a holiday on Cornwall’s north coast. Easy to access beautiful walks and beaches in the local area but also ideally positioned for visiting Penzance , Falmouth , Truro and St Ives . Jackdaw Cottage is in a great location, St Agnes is a lovely village with independent shops and cafes and a great surf shop. Be careful if walking on the lanes especially with dogs, cars come very fast around bends. The cottage is very clean and well equipped. The garden is small but enough for sitting in the sun or for your dog’s needs. Kitchen is well equipped, better than most cottages we have stayed in. Likewise the bathroom is well stocked with loo rolls and the shower is very good. Very nice towels too! We did find it quite noisy at night, mainly due to the windy weather with unknown noises from the roof area and down the chimney. It could also have been the Jackdaws which nest in the other chimney. ...

This was our second stay at Jackdaw Cottage and we would be very happy to recommend it. The standard of accommodation is very high and we loved the conservatory / garden for breakfast and relaxing. The cottage is in a peaceful position overlooking a valley. Jackdaw Cottage is a short distance from St Agnes which has some very good local shops , including a lovely bakers, and excellent cafes. The village also has some good pubs and closer to the cove , bars with a relaxed atmosphere. The cottage has an information pack that is very helpful with suggestions for days out and places to eat and we loved being able to walk from the cottage for evening meals in the local village. St Agnes is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful coastline and walking the coastal path.It is easy to pop across to Falmouth , Truro and the Helston area to visit the beautiful National Trust Gardens and the Lizard....

A very well equipped and clean cottage, comfortable and within easy reach by car to St Agnas and local Beaches. Sunday lunch at the Miners Arms is recommended!
