A lovely cottage in a great location on the outskirts of St Agnes. The village has a thriving heart of local shops and eateries which means that once settled in you don’t need to travel far unless you want to making for a relaxing holiday. Jackdaw Cottage is ideally placed for making the most of the stunning coastal scenery and beaches on the north coast and visiting NT properties in this part of Cornwall. We loved the seclusion of the garden and the thought that has clearly gone into making the cottage a very comfortable holiday home. We would be happy to recommend the cottage.
Mr Howarth September 2023
Lovely Cottage, very high standard. Excellent location for exploring Cornwall. Also was very nice to have milk, scones, jam and cream there on arrival
Miss Vriezen July 2023
Jackdaw Cottage is close to the beach and it is a stunning walk down there...!
Mr Glendinning June 2023
Jackdaw Cottage is a lovely retreat in a beautiful location. It is an ideal base for walking along the Cornish Coast and St Agnes and the villages of Mithian and Callestick (with wonderful pub, cyder farm, ice cream parlour and other places to visit) are all within a fairly short walking (or drive) distance. With good access to the A30, all the attractions of Cornwall are accessible for those who wish to travel a bit further. We spent a lovely fortnight based at this cottage, which had everything we needed.
Mrs Andrews March 2023
Great cottage and prefer for walking we were able to walk straight from the cottage and not far to pick up the coast path. In both directions. Lovely well equipped cottage perfect for us on a long weekend away
Mrs Eastman July 2022
Jackdaw cottage is a cosy home from home! A great base location to explore around the Cornish coast. It has all the essentials you need for a comfortable stay & a cream tea left for us on our arrival. We would recommend this cottage for a couple & small family & would stay again in the future.

Brilliantly equipped, clean, comfortable cottage. Great location to explore the many amazing places this county has to offer. Was nice to come back after a long day to such a peaceful and relaxing cottage.
Mrs Cavanagh April 2022
Perfect easy cottage for four people. Lovely interior, cosy but so comfortable. The conservatory is such a great addition, sunny garden though small is perfect. Parking and unpacking just at front of cottage is very accessible. Good location for walks, beaches and pubs.
Mrs Crews March 2022
A lovely, well equipped cottage in a quiet location but with easy access to local beaches and nearby bus route.
Mr Bedwell October 2021
Jackdaw Cottage is lovely, a fantastic place to stay. Very clean, comfortable and generally a great place to be! Our two year old loved it and had a great time - the child / toddler equipment was very handy too. St Agnes is just down the road, with a great little beach, and in the middle of St Ives, Newquay and Truro so plenty things to see and do (when not at the beach of course)!
Mrs Toulson October 2021
Fabulous place and incredibly clean and tidy. Allowed us to simply relax and unwind. Small point - we are both technophobes, so having instructions for the induction hob would be great (although the housekeeper was very helpful when we called her) Do eat at Schooners and the Driftwood Spa - very good food But great cottage and lacked for nothing. Will come again ! Ps thank you for the scones, cream, jam, tea and coffee - much appreciated
Mr Walton July 2021
