We fell in love with the old house and its charming atmosphere straight away and spent two wonderful weeks there as a group of four. We went on lots of walks along the beautiful nearby coast path, both north and south, and we also explored the Lizard Peninsula by car. Afterwards, we were convinced: you couldn’t find a better place than Chynhalls Cottage. You can see the sea from the upstairs bedrooms. There aren’t many accessible bathing coves in the area, and here you have one right on your doorstep, with a lovely sandy beach and clear water. We hadn’t expected to spend so much time swimming in Cornwall. We highly recommend the Loft Café in the unusually pretty village of Coverack, which is just a few minutes’ walk away. A special experience was hearing the seals communicating with one another at Lowland Point. Chynhalls Farm House is definitely a place you’ll want to return to....

Our second stay at Chynalls, and we absolutely love it here. Very quiet, secluded spot above a gorgeous beach which we often had to ourselves for early morning and evening swims. A little walk down to the village which now has an excellent, well stocked, small Community Shop. The cottage is so pretty, full of character and beautifully furnished. Spacious and comfortable. Lovely outdoor sitting areas too. A great place to stay! ...

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous farmhouse- lots of character, beautiful furnishings and superb location. We loved sitting round the little table in the courtyard, in the sun, for card games and meals. Or walking down to the beach (10 mins) for swims, or the other way into Coverack.
