Sea Thrift is a lovely little cottage in a nice little complex. The cottage offers privacy and the opportunity to mix with others on the complex if you wish to do so. The property is very clean and cosy. Constant hot water and no restrictions on heating. Good quality bed linens. Owners welcoming and approachable. We enjoyed our stay in Sea Thrift. Despite being a dog friendly cottage it was well equipped with nice comfy furniture and only a few necessary modifications ( tiled flooring) to make it dog friendly. It worked for us and our family in terms of easy access to the beach and the Hidden Hut ( amazing food!) and Portscatho. The owners on site are very friendly and helpful ( sensitively unobtrusive). Some people may not like staying where the owners are on site but I can honestly say it's not an issue. ...

It is a real gem of a place to stay, the owners have been so thoughtful about what people want when they are on holiday. We loved the olive trees in the yard ,and hope they grow old and remind us all of the Mediterranean, but we love Cornwall more.
