We really enjoyed our stay at Buttervilla. The barn conversion is beautiful with excellent decor. It was lovely to have a Christmas tree and some decorations and the scones were delicious! If we were being really picky there were some minor points that we feel could be improved. The two seater sofa in the lounge area is extremely low and wasn't particular comfortable. We also felt there could be better lighting in the downstairs , particularly in the food preparation area/breakfast bar. It was lovely that our Labrador was able to stay with us but having an enclosed area around the cottage for her to run around in would be very beneficial to dog owners and could be easily achieved given the current layout. ...
