The Cowstall has all this open space in front of it. It looks downhill towards The Piggery and the fields around. Guests at The Piggery have a back door and washing line but not the use of these open gardens. They are just for guests at The Cowstall.
The famous Cheddar Gorge and the dramatic limestone scenery of the Mendip Hills is a short drive away.
There are two wonderful lakes between Shepton Mallet and Bath - Blagon and Chew Valley.
The beautiful Roman City of Bath is a 40 minute drive away.
Nunney Castle near Frome is a hidden delight. A tiny castle complete with a moat.
Glastonbury and the iconic tor is close by. A walk to the top is rewarded with views across the whole of Somerset. Stunning!

This is an ideal holiday cottage - very clean and well-equipped. Owners lived nearby but were exceptionally helpful when required and mostly would not have known they were there. Two delightful, sociable peacocks visited to check us out quite often and even did us the honour of snoozing on our patio just outside the window! Would happily stay there again....
