North Somerset has some of the most beautiful scenery. This is the Chew Valley Lake, between Shepton Mallet and Bath.
Bath itself is wonderful for a day trip. This famous Roman City is a very straightforward 40 minute drive from Shepton Mallet. There is a very good Park & Ride service there to get into the town centre if you wish.

We absolutely loved this cottage. It has a huge living space with big bedrooms and bathrooms which was perfect for us and our two children. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed and the views from the property are very picturesque. The children especially enjoyed the peacocks at the kitchen door!
