This is the back of The PIggery. There is access via the back door if you wish but otherwise the accommodation is designed to face south.

North Somerset has some of the most beautiful scenery. This is the Chew Valley Lake, between Shepton Mallet and Bath.
Bath itself is wonderful for a day trip. This famous Roman City is a very straightforward 40 minute drive from Shepton Mallet. There is a very good Park & Ride service there to get into the town centre if you wish.

Within a couple of hours in the property we knew that we had to come back - booked a summer holiday there and then. It is a spacious comfortable home with everything you could need. Well equipped kitchen, clean and surfaces spotless - as is the property as a whole. Sofas very comfortable (a key point for us oldies). The location is great for many attractions and towns/cities nearby. We particularly liked Wells - definitely worth a visit. Owner who we met was very friendly and certainly we felt we could go to her if there was anything wrong - which there was not of course. Cannot recommend this property more highly. ...

The Piggery is well equipped and comfortable accommodation in a great location for exploring the area. We especially enjoyed the views of Glastonbury Tor, the wood burning stove and visits from the friendly peacock.

We had a lovely time at the Piggery, and appreciated the space along with the level of equipment. The time of year was not conducive to us sitting outside but can imagine it could be a lovely spot in the summer. It’s a great location for visiting so much that Somerset has to offer. We enjoyed the regular visits from the peacock and looking out onto fields with cows and sheep....

A fantastic, peaceful spot away from it all yet, a short drive and you can access all sorts of local attractions. Very clean and well appointed and great hosts. Would definitely recommend a stay here if you want to be away from it all in nature.
