There are some wonderful beaches nearby - this is Daymer Bay.
Polzeath is a great beach too.
Port Isaac, of Doc Martin, Fisherman's Friends and Nathan Outlaw fame, is well worth a visit.

We really enjoyed the beautiful, peaceful surroundings and easily accessible, really pretty, local walks. It's an excellent place to see the local wildlife while sitting quietly on the verandah.

Even though we were only a ten minute drive from Wadebridge, the hideaway felt like it was in the middle of nowhere, with nothing but the trees for company. A blissful getaway from the daily grind!
