The small enclosed garden, that is accessed from the twin bedroom, is a lovely spot to enjoy morning coffee.
You might catch the owner feeding her hens - they are very friendly.
There's a second lawned area where you can sit out and enjoy the peace and tranquility.
The charming village of Port Isaac, home of TV's Doc Martin, Fisherman's Friends and two Nathan Outlaw Restaurants.
There are some wonderful beaches along this stretch of coastline - Polzeath is the surfers' favourite.

This is a beautiful cottage , it’s upstairs living area was a beautiful space where you can all be together in comfort. Top quality throughout, very comfortable beds and bedding, good sized fluffy towels , kitchen well equipped and lovely welcome pack with local products. It is a good central base for visiting the area we visited Bodmin moor, Port Issac, Clovelly, Newquay, had a lovely walk along the river in Camelford (nearest village) , also went on the ferry from Rock to Padstow. In addition we went to Lanhydrock house an amazing national trust house and gardens . Plenty to do and see even in Autumn ....

Set amongst beautiful, and peaceful countryside, the Old Mill, is a real home away from home, in fact, we could happily have stayed there for much longer, including Max the dog! The Barn was cosy, and had everything that you could possibly need, and the tasty welcome basket from our host was much appreciated. Close to the coast and the Camel Trial, for some lovely walks too. We would love to come back one day....
