We had a superb stay at Puckey's forge! We arrived to a very warm welcome from Anne and Charles, including a homemade loaf of bread fresh from the oven, a hamper of yummy treats and a stocked fridge. The location is fantastic: quiet and scenic, yet super convenient for the north and south coast - and handy for the nearby Waitrose! The cottage itself is beautifully furnished: it's comfortable, light and well-equipped for a week of self catering. We particularly enjoyed the private terrace off the living room, and made the most of sitting out there with a cup of tea and a book after a long day of walking on the Cornish coast path. It was a perfect retreat from the world, and we would happily stay there again!...

We had a warm welcome from our hosts who had gone the extra mile - several times over, with their many generous touches. The cottage was in a great location and was furnished to a high standard. We liked the view into the garden on both sides and would have made use of the balcony area had the weather been warmer. It is the ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle being very calm and peaceful. We would certainly book again in the future if we were to stay in that area again....
