Perfect location for peace and relaxation. Great walks from outside the door, wildlife aplenty, wonderful views and sound of the sea inside and out. If the ‘price’ for this is a 0.5km wheelbarrow push with luggage from the car, it’s a price I’ll very happily pay every time. Great wheelbarrow by the way! We - and the dog - absolutely loved our stay. Thank you!!!...

Superb holiday destination, definitely one of a kind and we will certainly be returning! Location is second to none with only occasional walkers using the coastal footpath to disturb us, beach only a few minutes walk away and plenty of wildlife to spot. Cosy cottage with outstanding views with the sound of the sea as background noise... what's not to like!!!!...

Stunning doesn't quite capture the views from this cliff top hideaway. So many thoughtful offerings such as a pint of milk in the fridge and a wheel barrow to help getting your luggage 650 paces up the path. A warm outdoor shower was perfect for a wet muddy dog. We loved our stay at Captain Blakes Retreat with only seabirds soaring along the cliff face for company to the sound of crashing waves....
