There are fabulous beaches and miles of coastal footpaths to discover.
The historic house, gardens and parkland at Lanhydrock make for a great day out. If you enjoy adventures on two wheels there is also a network of cycling trails.

Barton Cottage had everything you need for self catering holiday. The kitchen was fully equipped and of a very high standard, the lounge area was comfortable, the bedroom and bathroom were also very comfortable and the shower worked perfectly. We loved the remote quiet location in the middle of rural Cornwall however Looe was only a short drive away where you gave access to beach, boat trips, restaurants, shops etc etc. The owners Laura and Tim were very friendly welcoming and approachable and we loved meeting and making a fuss of Basil the bonkers but beautiful Labrador. We would thoroughly recommend Barton Cottage to anyone! ...

Lots of interesting things to do from the cottage and the owners were welcoming. We feel there needs to be a bit of tweaking to make the property more comfortable.

If you want an authentic farm cottage which the farm is around 500 years old, then this for you. Right in the lovely country side so peaceful- and lovely owners (and their 2 dogs).

A great base for visiting different locations. Owners are very dog friendly and scenery was beautiful. So quiet and great for getting a peaceful night’s sleep ready to explore the following day
