Pretty cottage in a great location in the best village on the Lizard. Sunny garden with lovely views of the beach and harbour. In a couple of minutes you can be on the beach, or in the pub, the chippy or the excellent village shop, As an added bonus, a young seal seems to have taken up residence on the beach right outside.

Little Ship is a lovely cottage in a beautiful setting in the calm and peaceful village of Coverack.

comfortable with a front garden that gets the sun most of the day (in summer...)

Although parking opposite the cottage is not always possible, the 2 car parks at the entrance to the village are but a short and pleasant walk away.

Great little cottage with spectacular views of the cove. Perfect for a small family holiday in Coverack. Added bonus of a front garden to sit in and watch the world go by.

Lovely cottage with amazing views xIf light sleeper take earplugs and seagulls start early !! Cottage has everything you need

Cracking location and certainly perfect accommodation at the time of year, love to go back as soon as possible. Cannot fault this little area of the lizard.

Having had wonderful holidays in Coverack for 40 years with my children and now grandchildren, we were slightly nervous about staying in a different property. We needn't have worried - from the minute we walked through the door we fell in love with Little Ship. From the surprise Cream Tea when we opened the fridge to the charming furnishings and comfortable sofas, beds etc. Everything was perfect and we will definitely be returning to a very special place and soaking up the wonderful view from the garden and all the rooms.

Currently we advise against renting this property. Classic Cottages has allowed it to deteriorate badly.

Excellent cottage in a beautiful village; Well equipped, comfy beds, and a lovely view! One of the nicest walks to a car park I've known!

We loved our stay in The Little Ship. You just cannot beat having a garden in Coverack and we spent many a happy hour sitting in it, watching the sea. And then there are the window seats inside for those odd times of bad weather.

Having two separate rooms downstairs was very useful when our daughter needed to revise, and the big kitchen table was fab for family dinners.

Admittedly we have stayed in slightly more modernly presented cottages in Coverack, but due to the location and garden I have to say that The Little Ship is one of my favourites… the location and garden can’t be beaten.

Very good

Coverack is a beautiful fishing village on the lizard peninsula, the cottage has stunning sea views from every room. At night the sound of the sea is so relaxing. Lovely friendly village, would recommend the fish and chips from the takeaway on the harbour.

Despite a great view this cottage is very tired and not at all comfortable. The Little Ship is dark and damp. Unfortunately the bath does not heat up and the shower facilitates are poor. The wifi does not work well and the lounge is a tad small for 4 and the door does not close to keep in the warmth of the fire. I cannot recommend to others which is a shame since Classic Cottages are a great company.

Thank you so much for sharing your review on Little Ship Cottage. It's a shame to hear that you experienced an issue with the bathroom. There is a booster switch which offers hot water on demand - we're sorry if you missed this. The Wi-Fi coverage in Coverack can sometimes be a little patchy, though I'm sure you'd agree that the fanatstic views more than make up for this. We're sorry that Little Ship Cottage didn't quite hit the mark for you and hope we can welcome you to an alterntive property in the future. Julie, Customer Support

Stunning Views plenty of room, a home away from home. Enjoy

Very pretty cottage in lovely location overlooking the bay in an attractive village. Well equipped and very quiet cottage. Lots of wonderful coastal walks on the doorstep and several places locally to eat excellent cream teas!

Lovely holiday cottage in a fantastic location and very soothing to hear the sea at night with the window open!

Wonderful retreat

Beautiful cottage in a peaceful location and fabulous view of the bay. Excellent facilities. Lovely walks from the cottage and nearby.

Excellent views, close to all amenities and very well equipped kitchen/useful utility. Also has a lovely wood burning fire. Downsides are very poor WiFi, television and poor living room layout. Baths were also cold even if you used the Emersion booster

Thanks so much for your review and we've passed your feedback on to the team who look after this property. Unfortunately there was a fault on the line, which meant the WiFi was not working as efficiently as it should've, however, this has now all been sorted by BT. We're sorry that you found the water for the baths to be cold - the housekeeper has checked and could not find a problem on this occassion but we'll certainly keep a close eye on this moving fowards. We're so pleased that you enjoyed the location of the lovely Little Ship Cottage and we hope we can welcome you back soon. Tressa, Customer Support

Little Ship is a charming, comfortable cottage in a perfect location that we were happy to call home for a week. I loved sitting in the window seat in the sitting room staring at the sea view. We enjoyed being there so much that we booked a return visit before our first stay had even ended!
