A beautiful, quirky cottage with bags of character. The views are stunning and all rooms were very well appointed. We loved the cottage and would definitely look to book again.

Stunning location and picturesque external structure. Unfortunately the cottage does not represent value for money as the internal furnishings are tired, stained and there is a very unpleasant smell in the lounge and in the only toilet. The hot water is very hit and miss with no hot at all on some days. There is only one toilet and shower (and a tatty shower curtain).

We're pleased that you enjoyed the stunning location - Minstrel Cottage really benefits from the most breathtaking views. We're sorry to hear that there were a few aspects you were disappointed with. The owners are pleased to confirm that they have since refilled the sofa cushions, arranged for a full carpet clean, replaced the shower curtain and investigated the hot water issue. The bathroom fittings and lino are new and we understand that a leak may have caused the smell - this has also been adressed. Thank you for your feedback; we do hope that you enjoyed exploring the local area. Julie, Customer Support

perfect location to enjoy the morning sun and be a bit cooler in the afternoons. all provisions available in the village, Roskilly's is a 45/50min walk - short route, or longer along the coastal path. Pb is nice with good food. all round a great place to be.

We feel as though we chose the most gorgeous cottage in the most gorgeous village in Cornwall. Minstrel Cottage was an absolute delight, and exceeded our expectations! Coverack is such a charming little traditional fishing village and not too busy when we stayed mid June. We used the cottage as a base to do several walks along the coastal path. There are a couple of small shops where you can obtain basic supplies and you’ll get a reasonable meal at the Paris Hotel or The Lifeboat House, however we were very glad we had stopped at the excellent M & S food in Truro and picked up a supply of “ready meals” because Coverack is fairly isolated.
