Millstone Cottage

We loved our stay at Millstone Cottage so much we didn't want to go home! The cottage is gorgeous-spotlessly clean and the owners have thought of everything. The gardens were absolutely beautiful. So peaceful. We were very lucky to have lovely weather and loved drinking our coffee outside in the morning or in the lounge with the french doors open and the sun streaming through. I can imagine Millstone would also be lovely in the colder months, with it's wood burner and cosy feel. The cottage is in a fantastic location. Through the little white gate turn left and a five minute walk to the National Trust Old Serpentine Works. Ten minutes further down the lane and along pathways to Poltesco beach and if you turn right through the cottage gate a ten minute walk to Ruan Minor -a lovely little village with a beautiful church and friendly shop and cafe:) We have stayed in a lot of holiday lets and Millstone Cottage has got to be the best! A big thank you to the owners for understanding our situation. This really is a little piece of Heaven :)...

We had a lovely week in Millstone Cottage. Perfect place to get away from it all. Very comfortable and well equipped. A ten minute walk from the village of Ruan Minor, convenient for essential groceries. The cottage is well situated for visiting Helston, the Seal Sanctuary, Trebah Gardens, Minack Theatre and numerous lovely coves and beaches. There is a Sainsburys petrol station not too far away and Tesco and Sainsburys supermarkets. Would highly recommend, and would love to visit again....

Fabulous cottage, very clean and comfortable. Beautiful rural location. Surprised by the ease of access to Cadgwith Cove, which was a comfortable 25 minutes walk. Definately would recommend a stay here.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay in Millstone cottage, cottage and garden are beautiful in the summer! The cottage is located on a road with hardly any traffic, so quietness is assured. If this is what you are looking for I can only recommend Millstone cottage....

Millstone cottage is a very beautiful and charming cottage, located in a nice quiet and rural part of Cornwall, called Ruan Minor. It's very comfortable and beautifully furnished with great bedding, and kitchen was equipped with everything you could want. It's great for a couple or couple with a child as the second bedroom is single bed. It's easy to get around Cornwall from the cottage, The Lizard Point is very easily reached from there, and there is a very nice cafe/bistro called Coast in the Lizard village with great food. The shower is amazing and the beds very comfortably. Very friendly and helpful owners who live in the village. It was nice to have milk in the fridge and tea/biscuits on arrival. Overall a very lovely cottage....
