At low tide walk across the famous stepping stones across the creek connecting one side of the village with the other.

Wander through the streets of fashionable Fowey at the mouth of the river with its trendy shops and galleries and a whole host of places to eat and drink.
The south coast has an abundance of sheltered coves and bays waiting to be discovered.

This was our 2nd visit to this lovely cottage. It is clean, comfortable and well equipped. The area is stunning. Beautiful walks . Pretty towns, villages and coastline with little hidden coves. As well as lots of walks we visited Fowey (good restaurants), Polruan, Lostwithiel,Lanhydrock, the Duchy Nursery etc . There is lots to do, but also if you just want to relax and do nothing it’s the perfect spot for listening to the birds in the garden and watching folks messing about on the river....

A wonderful, quiet cottage with a great view on the river and it’s life. Watching the tides rise and fall was very relaxing. Village shop very good and just a short hop across stones at low tide. Village pub ok with friendly staff. Fowey cider and gin distillery in lostwithiel worth a visit - book early for gin masterclass. ...
