This was our 4th stay at Top Sails. It’s by far the nicest place we’ve stayed at in Cornwall. The sea views are to die for and the place is very well equipped if you like to cook and eat in (as we did with a young baby) It’s also furnished to a very high standard. St Mawes is just lovely too, so it’s a perfect combination. You won’t be disappointed if you choose to stay here ...

Lovely apartment, beautiful views and excellent location. All you need is at your doorstep, bakery, deli, pubs and restaurants. The ferry is just outside the apartment you can take to Falmouth, over to St Anthony's for a lovely costal walk or for a river cruse up to Trelissick gardens. The apartment is very well equipped with all you need for your holiday. The beds are comfortable and the towels are fluffy :-) Excellent location, beautiful village, perfect apartment! ...

Fourth time we have stayed in this property and as good as ever. Stunning location and very comfortable.

Lovely appartment, well equipped, clean and comfortable beds and white linen too. Especially lovely for a wintertime escape. The location was great with wonderful views out to sea. We chose it for the views and were not disappointed! Close enough to all amenities, but quiet. A hop down to the pier for the ferry to Falmouth. (We were thrilled to see dolphins!) A stone's throw from St Mawes Castle (well worth a visit), the excellent St Mawes hotel (sister to the Michelin starred Idle Rocks just around the bay). We enjoyed both. Lovely walking. ...

An excellent apartment in an excellent location. St Mawes is a very pretty and welcoming village were we felt at home immediately. The waterside location offered so many opportunities to explore the Roseland peninsula. One hightlight was using the Place ferry to access the coastpath and stopping off at Great Molunan beach which was stunning. We would also recommend the St Mawes hotel for a meal/takeaway pizza and the St Mawes bakery. Further afield the village of Portscatho is also very pretty and we had a very good meal at The Boat House....
