A really lovely property in a picturesque spot with fab views. Andrew & Janice were there to greet us on arrival and gave us suggestions during the week for walks in the area and also apples from their orchard. All in all a delightful week. Classic Cottages have many lovely cottages on the site and The Stables must rank as one of the very best. The accommodation is exceptional, the views very good and the garden lovely. We absolutely loved the Jo Downs mirror in the bathroom. Andrew & Jan are very friendly and welcoming and there if they are needed to give advice re The Stables or on places to visit, walks etc. We thoroughly recommend The Stables and hopefully will spend another holiday there at some future date....

We loved staying at The Old Stable’s, it’s certainly in our top two of self catering cottages, with the safety and security of visiting quests taken seriously in the cleanliness and COVID precautions that could not be faulted An excellent cottage with quality fixtures and fittings, designed with every comfort in mind. Lovely landscaped gardens with good seating areas in many locations. The friendly hosts had provided good information on the local area, with walking maps and routes direct from the cottage and further afield. ...

We enjoyed our stay at the Old Stables. It was so socially distant the nearest neighbour was half a mile away!! The owners gave us access to the vegetable garden and greenhouse produce, as vegetarians this was greatly appreciated. The decor was completed to a very high standard and we appreciated the spaciousness created by the vaulted ceilings. The owners were very conscientious about our safety and this was very valued. The bedding was superb. The duvet was specially constructed so that each visitor had a fresh one. Underfloor heating ensured that constant temperatures were maintained. the southwest facing back patio was a joy to return home to....
