This property definitely has the wow factor. Beautifully designed and finished to a very high standard, it is sure to meet the demands of the most discerning guests. We loved the space and furnishings. Great attention to detail throughput. Thanks too for the welcome hamper and home made brownies! The pool is small but has enough space for a little swim up and down. The hot tub was great and we made good use of it. We visited the New Inn for dinner one evening which is around 3/4 mile away. The food was quite tasty but the menu was very basic/old fashioned (prawn cocktail, mushrooms on toast, scampi and chips etc). There are some gorgeous villages and towns nearby but be prepared to navigate very narrow lanes to reach some of them! Totnes is great for a mooch around, with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants. Would definitely return to the area and to Willows Rest. ...

The barn was definitely as good as it looked in the pictures. All the rooms were comfortable and stylish. The main kitchen and living area was stunning and perfect for having our family meals and for reading books. The TV room was comfortable for everyone to pile into and watch a film. The gardens are lovely. Although we didn't use the hot tub, we made good use of the pool, which was a good temperature, easy to take off and put on the cover and had a nice changing area and shower. The owner, Raymond, met us and gave us a welcome, and also included a nice welcome basket and also very useful guides on local trips, walks, pubs, restaurants and takeaways. We tried two takeaways during our week, a local Chinese in Totnes who managed to deliver right to the driveway despite being relatively secluded, and an Indian from Kingsbridge which we only have to drive to a nearby petrol station to meet and pick up. It is also ideally placed in the middle of lots of places like Paignton, Brixham, Salcombe, the nearby Sharpham vineyard, and Buckfast Abbey. Thanks for an excellent stay!...

The house of beautifully and tastefully decorated as well as being comfortable. Beds great, kitchen well appointed. Pool and hot tub a bonus! Location is rural but not far from either Dartmouth or Totnes for shopping and all the amenities of the South Hams Was great for our two families...

Willow's rest is a rustic, beautiful property that ensures you escape from the world. All you could ever need or want, whether its a restful nights sleep after one of the many walks into the Devon countryside, or a days surfing at Bigbury, or maybe some s'mores around the camp fire followed by the hot tub with stars blinkering...magical place ! Our stay at willows rest was perfect. Not only is the barn absolutely beautiful, the hosts were on hand whenever we needed them (and live next door in an equally gorgeous house). The swimming pool was a great addition and the hot tub was ideal! The hamper on arrive was lush and the kitchen cupboards are stocked to make sure you can cook for lots of people. We will recommend it to our friends and hopefully be back soon! ...
