The entrance hall has a wonderful sense of space - the main staircase leads up to the sitting-room and bedroom 3. Bedrooms 1, 2 and the shower-room lead off via the stairs on the right.
Plenty of room for everyone to chill out and relax.
Please take care of children around the bannisters in the sitting-room. Bedroom 3 can be seen at the top of the stairs.
You are sure to spend many an hour enjoying the wonderful views from the balcony.

Bedroom 2 is across the landing from bedroom 1
The family shower-room sits between bedroom 1 and 2.
Bedroom 3 is at the top of the house.
Bedroom 3 has lovely exposed beams but please mind your head.

The owners' garden sits to the side of the cottage - which you are welcome to wander around, but you have your own private area to sit out.

The owners' chickens will delight young and old alike - you can help them feed the chickens and collect the eggs.
The beaches on both the north and south coast are easily accessible.
The harbour town of Looe offers traditional seaside fun, the chance to join a fishing trip or wander around the shops.
Spend the day exploring the maritime city of Plymouth.
Beautiful Dartmoor is waiting to be discovered either by bike or on foot.
Hire a canoe or kayak and discover all the delights along the River Tamar.
If you enjoy walking the coastal footpath will not disappoint. There are also many great countryside walks right on your doorstep.

Lake View was a lovely cottage and Ruth and Chris were unobtrusive but made clear their availability if there were questions but there were none. The cottage was very well equipped, spotless and the bedding was very comfortable. The welcome touches such as chocolates, apple juice and hand sanitizer amongst other household items were much appreciated. I would have no hesitation in recommending to future guests. ...

We had a wonderful time at Lake View!! The cottage was absolutely spotless upon our arrival. The welcome was delightful. The view is beautiful and all in all I would highly recommend this cottage for a family vacation. We explored the local beaches and Plymouth, there are some beautiful, tucked away locations for swimming and sunbathing, away from the madding crowd and about a 30 minute drive (worth it!). The cottage is not easy to find - which is super however, do double check with the owners before arriving that you have the right directions. Once there, your cares just drift away. The owners are great, offering advice where needed - I actually left some items and they were returned by post to me which I thought was really kind. My kids loved the place too. If you are travelling towards the borders of Cornwall and you need some downtime then look no further. Enjoy. We did - THANK YOU for a glorious stay!...
