On chillier evenings snuggle up in front of the wood-burner effect electric stove - which has all the charm of the real thing but without the hassle!
There are lovely touches throughout this tastefully presented cottage.
The little snug provides a quiet place to sit.
A doorway in the snug opens up to reveal the spiral staircase leading to Bedroom 2. Please note the stairs are steeper owing to the age of the cottage.
Corner Cottage dates back to the 17th century so the stairs are steep and uneven - please take care.
The stairs lead straight into the bedroom.
Bedroom 2.
The bedroom is painted in soft Farrow and Ball shades. The vaulted ceiling gives the room a sense of space.
Bedroom 1 has a super comfy king-size bed and is accessed via a different staircase.
The ante room to Bedroom 1.
The pretty day bed adorned with lovely linen cushions provides flexible sleeping arrangements.
Corner Cottage has two shower-rooms, both on the ground floor.
Enjoy a morning coffee or afternoon tea in the sheltered courtyard
Enjoy the stunning scenery along the coastal footpath.
Pop into Bude to walk or cycle along the canal or have some fun messing about in the water.
The sea pool at Bude is a popular place in summer.
Summerleaze beach is stunning throughout the year.
There will be plenty of opportunity to ride the waves.
The charming cobbled streets of Clovelly are waiting to be explored.
Pretty as a picture the harbour at Clovelly.
Tintagel is a great place to go with the family with something for all the family to do.
The pretty fishing villages of Boscastle and Port Isaac are well worth a visit.
Don't forget to pack the walking boots to make the most of the footpaths in the area.

Corner Cottage is a delightful oldeworlde Cornish cottage, ideally situated for holidays by the sea. It is comfortable and well equipped. The staircases are very steep which might be a problem with small children, although there is a gate at the top of one of them. The village of Marhamchurch has a community shop and a pub, which has limited opening, and no food, although there is a food truck (not sure when)....

We had a lovely stay in the cottage last week. The kitchen was really well equipped, there wasn't anything we didn't have available to us. The scones with clotted cream and jam were a lovely thought and much appreciated after a long drive. The cottage was very clean and well presented. The beds were very comfortable too. The cottage is in a great village location, just minutes from the sea by car. We really loved staying there, it was a lovely quirky building. The stairs to the bedrooms were incredibly steep but manageable for us. I would avoid this particular cottage if you have any mobility issues....

Great location, bit of a walk into Bude, but only 10 minutes by car. Lovely little village with a well stocked (and cheap) village shop run by volunteers. Lovely pub across the road doing truck street food. Property has lots of character, low level beams, low doorways, windy steep staircases to the bedrooms, bit of an issue if you are over 5ft 2, just beware of banging your head! Two shower rooms which is a bonus with a family of four. Everything you should need for a stay, even a wind break for the beach. ...

We really enjoyed our time at the corner cottage, it was clean, well equipped and as described. It is a traditional Cornish cottage and does have low ceilings that in our opinion add to the charm. It easily accommodated our family of four. Ideal location with Bude a 10 minute drive away. Highly recommend....
