The Cottage was lovely and a good location but the court yard was very uncared for. The table and 2 chairs were completely rusted through the brambles cascading down the wall . The drive plants needed cutting back to the wall. We like being outside it was such a shame we could not sit out side with a coffee. ...

Classic Cottages description of the parking space provided with this cottage breaches consumer trades description legislation and is simply false. Be prepared to sustain damage to your vehicle if you use it!

We're very sorry that you damaged your front spoiler when parking. We do try to consider all potential guests when writing our descriptions, and physically test out parking spaces ourselves to gauge the room available and any likely difficulty in using it. Obviously factors such as different vehicle shapes and driver confidence are elements that we can't necessarily replicate, but we also monitor guest feedback very closely to identify any problems. We do recognise that this space is better accessed by reversing in, and were very saddened to see that you had trouble despite following our recommendation to do so. The majority of guests have had no issues with following our advice, but we would suggest that guests use their own judgement for their individual vehicle. Classic Cottages...
