Had a wonderful holiday at the Old Dairy. The cottage was well positioned and a steep walk down to the beach was much enjoyed daily! Need to be careful reversing car into small space as can easily scrape bottom of car!
Cottage was superbly decorated with calming coastal theme. Very well equipped (No pasta bowls which would have been useful) Everything was very comfortable except the bed which was awful. No support for back, a very squishy, marshmallow mattress provided. However, we turned it over for the latter 6 nights having slept little for first night due to discomfort and back ache, and that was much better. Still a soft mattress, but we coped. There is little storage in the cottage, so we were aware of all our "stuff" being somewhat of a clutter, but we would definitely go back again, just hoping they have replaced the mattress!

Really peaceful location that made you feel safe and welcome. We found everyone we meet in the village polite and friendly . The patio has a gate so we took a padlock and stored our electric bike in whilst there . It’s totally hidden from the road . Excellent local shop next to the beach five mins down the hill sells everything. So many things to recommend to do ! Lost gardens of heligan, caerhays castle, walk to megavissey over cliffs and catch the bus back , Castletown for ship wreck museum . I drive a Vitara s cross and had no issues with parking at the property - but there’s room in the road just up from the cottage if you have any concerns.

Delightful cottage, nicely furnished. In a good location in village with shop and places to eat. Coastal footpath nearby.

Geat cottage for two to explore the local area! Everything you could need for a relaxing break!

Fantastic location with a 5 min walk to the beach. Well equipped and spacious, ideal for a couple. Outside space is limited but then you are only a short distant from beautiful Gorran Haven beach Super clean and tastefully decorated, there’s nothing not to like about this property !

Parking slightly awkward but cottage very clean and tidy.

Lovely cottage. Nice welcome pack. Really comfortable bed and bed linen. Overall a really comfortable stay

The old dairy is ideal for a couple well equipped to a high standard

The Cottage was lovely and a good location but the court yard was very uncared for. The table and 2 chairs were completely rusted through the brambles cascading down the wall . The drive plants needed cutting back to the wall. We like being outside it was such a shame we could not sit out side with a coffee.

Classic Cottages description of the parking space provided with this cottage breaches consumer trades description legislation and is simply false. Be prepared to sustain damage to your vehicle if you use it!

We're very sorry that you damaged your front spoiler when parking. We do try to consider all potential guests when writing our descriptions, and physically test out parking spaces ourselves to gauge the room available and any likely difficulty in using it. Obviously factors such as different vehicle shapes and driver confidence are elements that we can't necessarily replicate, but we also monitor guest feedback very closely to identify any problems. We do recognise that this space is better accessed by reversing in, and were very saddened to see that you had trouble despite following our recommendation to do so. The majority of guests have had no issues with following our advice, but we would suggest that guests use their own judgement for their individual vehicle. Classic Cottages

Lovely cosy cottage for 2 and a dog! Well equipped , and located just a short walk from the village beach and a longer but manageable walk to a large remoter beach that in March we had virtually all to ourselves . Local shop had fresh bread cakes and essentials and we had lovely chats with friendly locals .

It’s absolutely perfect for a couple - a comfortable base to explore the area great value

Great cottage. Great location. Will be back!!!!!!

Car most definitely needed!

Thank you for your review of The Old Dairy. The property is within a ten minute walk of the beach and harbour with plenty to see and do but a car is useful if you are planning to explore a little more of the county. Alison, Customer Support

Lovely, cosy little cottage for two, handy for doing some walking on the South West Coast Path. Well equipped, nicely furnished. Good bed linen and towels, and a really comfortable bed. Dog friendly though the back yard is tiny. Great food for a special meal out at the just down the road - and dog friendly in the bar.

We enjoyed the Old Dairy during our stay for a fortnight, especially when it was raining outside. There is plenty of space to feel very well and there are all fittings you need.

Absolutely gorgeous little hideaway, immaculately clean, fully equipped and perfect location to walk to the village and beach, this was our second visit but won’t be our last. Perfect in every way!!!

A delightful and beautiful cottage for two.

Located near the coast path with some absolutely stunning walks in any direction.

Our stay in the Old Dairy was just perfect. The cottage is wonderful and has been decorated to a very hard standard. The location is great and it is very easy to get out and explore in the surrounding areas.

A lovely welcoming cottage in a lovely village that smells wonderful.

The Old Dairy is a gem. It is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Cornish coast,so many walks from the doorstep-recommend walking to Portmellon/Mevagissey. Many other places of interest only a short drive away eg Caerhayes and Portluney beach. Gorran Haven is a lovely little village, locals very welcoming -appears to be a very community spirited place. So nice to see homemade jams and homegrown plants for sale alongside honesty boxes. The beach is fabulous, dog friendly-OK to let dog off the lead during quiet periods if well behaved. We couldn't fault the cottage or the service we received from Classic Cottages. Thank you!

The cottage was perfectetly clean and had everything we needed lovely stay.

Cosy, clean and comfortable. Great location for those who enjoy peace and quiet.

Lovely cottage, just right for two.Ideal base for walking or exploring the area.
