This is a lovely cottage in a central location, well placed for visiting all parts of the island . It has the advantage of being near the main supermarkets but is in a very quiet peaceful location. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and the cottage was comfortable and clean.

Would definitely recommend. We had a lovely stay and it was exactly the kind of place we were hoping for - very chilled, with animals for the kids (and adults) to enjoy and well located to travel around the island.
Mrs Briant July 2020
Great location, homely well equipped cottage and lovely owners next door.
Lovely coming in to welcoming aga at the end of a long day out. Wish we could have stayed another week, did not want to leave.
Mr Landers September 2019
You will not find any more friendly and helpful hosts. It's worth mentioning we were greeted with a home made cake, a bottle of red wine, and fresh garden eggs.

Greenacres Farm is such a charming place to stay! The Farmhouse is well equipped with everything you could think of, and more. Many special touches make it idyllic! My husband, my sister and my mother were here from the U.S (Michigan) for 2 weeks and we enjoyed every moment. We felt at home as soon as we arrived, easily unpacked as there were places for all our clothing, bits and bobs, etc. Usually we have to rush to the market to get tea, and basics, but not this time! There were tea bags, coffee, sugar, a small milk in the fridge, homemade sponge and eggs from the chickens. So thoughtful! After our long journey, it was nice to enjoy a relaxing cuppa and a bite of cake before heading out.
A bit more details about the Farmhouse: Bedrooms: The decor is lovely, with very comfortable beds and soft bedding that gave us each a good nights sleep. Plenty of closet space, hangers, and drawers in each also. Windows brought in the natural light and had shades for privacy. The balcony off the master bath is perfect to watch the chickens and sheep in the morning, and we also enjoyed star gazing in the evening.
Bathrooms: Fabulous towels!! Bathrooms were very clean and accessible, with cabinets to store our things. Water pressure very very good! The Mater Bath upstairs is a-mazing!
Kitchen: Fresh eggs from the chickens and a fresh baked cake welcomed us -- oh so yummy!!! Oh, the Aga....We wish we could have taken it home with us! Always on, keeping us cozy and ready to use! There was also a standard oven and microwave provided, but the Aga was our go-to. We cooked quite a bit and never lacked for cooking utensils, pans, etc. We had friends and family over and had plenty of dishes, cutlery and glassware for all. Separate refrigerator and freezers had plenty of room for our groceries. There was also dishwasher for cleanup, and cleaning supplies to use. The clothes washer also came in handy. Easy to use and we found a drying rack and a clothes line out back. Using the drying rack near the Aga had our clothes (including jeans) dry by the morning, when doing an evening launder. Lounge and Dining room were very comfortable, and roomy enough to entertain family. Plenty of room and light with all the windows! Our favorite morning routine would be watching the chickens scurrying over when opening the windows!! Best way to start the day!! haha . Wifi was available as was television. Each day we would be out visiting friends, shopping, etc, and in the past would return to our other rentals early evening. But the Farmhouse was so welcoming, we'd find ourselves returning earlier and earlier to relax, and enjoy it.
The grounds are lovely, flowers planted everywhere, and many areas to walk. Everyday, we'd see red squirrels, ducks, sheep, birds and Canadian geese all around us. Hosts were excellent and we looked forward to seeing them each day.

Beautiful house on a lovely farm with everything you could want. Very peaceful and relaxing. Great for a family with young children because there are sheep and chickens roaming around. Location is excellent. Owners were really helpful and friendly. I see us going back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Greenacres Farm House. The location was actually really good for getting all over the Island. Only 20 min from the ferry terminal at East Cowes, 5 min from a new large Asda and close to pubs and the red squirrel cycle route path. Thoroughly recommend this property for both families and couples (young or old, although the stairs may be a bit steep for some oldies!). Beautiful surroundings and plenty of sheep and chickens, plus the odd red squirrel, duck and woodpecker. Decent garden area which will look even better in 2019. May thanks to the owners.
