Access to the property is along narrow winding high-banked Cornish roads - not for the faint-hearted! The access drive is adequate but uneven and the parking turning area tight. Generous gifts on arrival. Beautiful old barn conversion finished to a very high standard with quality furnishings (two seater settee could have been improved). Limited natural light inside but cosy atmosphere with log burner and logs provided (not used). The kitchen appliances were modern and very clean and there was every utensil you could want. Hosts Jon and Liz seemed relaxed, were friendly and on hand to our only request for help within minutes, reassuringly present in the background. Idyllic, rustic, rural location with well maintained farm and woodland walks. Easy access to stunning cliff walks and beautiful beaches. We hope to return. ...

Very enjoyable stay everything you require is provided and of high quality. The cottage is very rural and on a working farm, very relaxing and the owners are very pleasant and can’t do enough for you but not intrusive. A cut path guides you along for a stroll around the farm with a nice pond with seating to sit and unwind. Would certainly recommend....

Meadow Cottage is a real gem. Quiet and secluded. It is well-equipped, immaculate and cosy. Liz and Jon are perfect hosts. Super location for visiting popular coastal villages.

A beautiful cottage rebuilt as a barn conversion, from virtually nothing, to a very high standard. It was exceptionally clean and well appointed, the kitchen providing all the necessary equipment. We had a wonderful week exploring the surrounding countryside and local beaches on foot and using our ebikes. We conquered many 'cardiac hills' especially at Millook Haven with its famous zig-zag geological strata. Duckpool, North of Bude is another quiet hidden gem with its National Trust car park. Full days out with a picnic at Crackington Haven, Widemouth Beach and Boscastle, with its walk up to the white coast guard lookout point, is a must. Thankyou Jon and Liz for your welcome of wine and goodies. We had a fabulous week and would not hesitate to recommend you to our friends....

Meadow barn is probably the best equipped cottage I’ve stayed in, Liz has thought of everything you might need . The welcoming goodies were much appreciated and the cut flowers a very nice touch .
