We loved our stay at Daybreak cottage. We had a fabulous stay. Dan & Rob were very helpful and went above & beyond. We totally relaxed and did not want to leave on our last day.

Daybreak is a wonderful place to stay. Very comfortable and beautifully designed. We loved sitting in the garden on the deck chairs and walking around the surrounding paddocks with our dog, pure escapism from our city life. Well placed for all the local attractions, Port Issac, Padstow, Bedruthan Steps, Mawgan Porth, Harlyn Bay and many more. The whole farm is gorgeous (owners home and Daydream cottage) everything very tastefully done. Within 30 mins of being there we were discussing selling up and buying a barn conversion ! ...

Daybreak cottage was the most perfect setting with a beautiful paddock and garden; ideal for dogs to roam around in and we loved sitting in the garden every morning and evening. The cottage is beautifully decorated and the furnishings and added touches were lovely. The owners left us a cake which was delicious and a really nice touch to have when we arrived. The cottage is in a great location and we were able to drive to Padstow, Port Isaac, Rock and Newquay for day trips. Unfortunately the cottage needed a good clean which really let it down. On the surface it looked nice and clean when we arrived but the longer our stay went on and the more use we got out of the cottage the more dirt we found. There were dead flies and spiders and dust and hair under all the beds, sofas and other furniture, dead flies in the light fittings in the bathroom, the oven, dishwasher and tumble drier were really dirty, the wine fridge was very smelly and the toilet in the en suite wasn’t clean. Some of the facilities weren’t working which we were reimbursed for and we did have to wait until the following day twice to be provided with the high chair and stair gate and for the owner to come round to look at the broken washing machine. However, the property is beautiful and with a thorough deep clean and a few checks done beforehand to make sure everything was in working order it would have been exceptional and somewhere we would highly recommend....

We loved our week at Daybreak Cottage and didn’t want to leave. It is full of natural light, cosy and spotlessly clean. Dan and Rob made us feel very welcome and our boxer dog absolutely loved the adjoining paddock to play ball before a day on the beach. It is a great location for exploring the many beautiful beaches on this part of Cornwall’s coast, or you could stay put and enjoy the peace and birdsong from the sunny garden. ...

Beautiful idyllic cottage with all mod cons. Very light and sunny in a quiet location. No light pollution so the night skies were amazing. A wonderful week ideally located for exploring the Atlantic coast.
