A well equiped and delightfull cottage located in beautiful grounds.

Daybreak was perfect for our family of 4 and our spaniel. The cottage is light and bright and is much more spacious than the pictures portray. It had all the comfort and facilities needed for us to enjoy our week exploring the beaches in north Cornwall, most a 30 minute drive. The hosts who live next door were so friendly and helpful when we had a couple of issues with the water due to the rain. We had a wonderful week and cannot recommend the cottage highly enough.

We loved our week at Daybreak! Fantastic property, beautiful location. Everything we need. High standard. Sad to leave and will return!

I think your website is very good. Easy to navigate.

We all loved our stay at Daybreak Cottage. It's in a good location -quiet but easily accessible.

Dan is a brilliant host. We arrived to a homemade Victoria sponge cake, fresh milk in the fridge and dog biscuits for the dogs. This is our 3 stay in Daybreak cottage and we will be back again.

A property that allows you to be a recluse should you wish, with everything you require at the cottage, but easy enough to travel to the hotspots in Cornwall. The cottage has been designed and finished to a very high standard and I defy anyone not to have a relaxing time there.

Daybreak cottage was the most perfect setting with a beautiful paddock and garden; ideal for dogs to roam around in and we loved sitting in the garden every morning and evening. The cottage is beautifully decorated and the furnishings and added touches were lovely. The owners left us a cake which was delicious and a really nice touch to have when we arrived. The cottage is in a great location and we were able to drive to Padstow, Port Isaac, Rock and Newquay for day trips. Unfortunately the cottage needed a good clean which really let it down. On the surface it looked nice and clean when we arrived but the longer our stay went on and the more use we got out of the cottage the more dirt we found. There were dead flies and spiders and dust and hair under all the beds, sofas and other furniture, dead flies in the light fittings in the bathroom, the oven, dishwasher and tumble drier were really dirty, the wine fridge was very smelly and the toilet in the en suite wasn’t clean. Some of the facilities weren’t working which we were reimbursed for and we did have to wait until the following day twice to be provided with the high chair and stair gate and for the owner to come round to look at the broken washing machine. However, the property is beautiful and with a thorough deep clean and a few checks done beforehand to make sure everything was in working order it would have been exceptional and somewhere we would highly recommend.

Thanks so much for your comments, we're pleased to see that you loved the area and thought the property was beautiful. We were sorry that you felt there were a few areas that needed a little more attention; we'd have been more than happy to arrange for the housekeeper to revisit had you mentioned this to us, or to the owner, when we spoke with you during the holiday. The owner prides himself on delivering the best holiday experience and would always want to help wherever possible. We're so happy to see that you enjoyed the cake and welcome, and hope that your stay was a pleasant one overall. Tanya, Customer Support

We loved our stay at Daybreak cottage. We had a fabulous stay. Dan & Rob were very helpful and went above & beyond. We totally relaxed and did not want to leave on our last day.

Our second stay at Daybreak Cottage because we loved our first holiday there so much. Nothing disappointed, we were made to feel so welcome again and felt settled in immediately. The paddock is such a bonus if you have a dog and the whole area is so peaceful. Really liked the new bathroom and maybe will try out the new wood burner when we visit again in October.

Lovely setting with easy access to beaches and trail. Everyone including dog made to feel very welcome thank you Dan.

Daybreak is a wonderful place to stay. Very comfortable and beautifully designed. We loved sitting in the garden on the deck chairs and walking around the surrounding paddocks with our dog, pure escapism from our city life. Well placed for all the local attractions, Port Issac, Padstow, Bedruthan Steps, Mawgan Porth, Harlyn Bay and many more. The whole farm is gorgeous (owners home and Daydream cottage) everything very tastefully done. Within 30 mins of being there we were discussing selling up and buying a barn conversion !

Daybreak cottage is absolutely stunning - we enjoyed it so much - the decor is impeccably stylish, the grounds are so peaceful and beautiful and it was totally spotless - there is literally nothing else we could have asked for. The hosts were very helpful when we had a couple of queries and the location for us was great as it was central to all the places we like to visit when we are in Cornwall. Our entire family agreed that it was the only cottage we’d ever stayed at where we felt completely at home and settled - we really didn’t want to leave. We will definitely return to this wonderful holiday cottage.

A perfect holiday cottage in a lovely area near to Rock,s super beach to walk the dogs.

We loved our week at Daybreak Cottage and didn’t want to leave. It is full of natural light, cosy and spotlessly clean. Dan and Rob made us feel very welcome and our boxer dog absolutely loved the adjoining paddock to play ball before a day on the beach. It is a great location for exploring the many beautiful beaches on this part of Cornwall’s coast, or you could stay put and enjoy the peace and birdsong from the sunny garden.

Beautiful idyllic cottage with all mod cons. Very light and sunny in a quiet location. No light pollution so the night skies were amazing. A wonderful week ideally located for exploring the Atlantic coast.

Lovely house set in beautiful grounds. Perfect for exploring the North coast and surrounding areas. See you in April!

Daybreak Cottage is lovely, very attractive and comfortable. The fields and gardens are excellent for dogs. It was cosy and warm even though outside it was blowing a gale and pouring with rain. Books to read and games to play. Loved the washing machine and tumble dryer since we had to wash clothes saturated by the rain. All in all we highly recommend Daybreak cottage and if you are a bigger party the other cottage ' Daydream' looked very very good.

Would recommend this cottage to my friends.

Beautiful cottage centrally located in a tranquil area. A real pleasure to return to after the busy tourist areas where you can unwind and relax. A real friendly welcome awaits when you arrive and you are made to feel at home. Dan gave us some real tips on the local areas, restaurants and beaches which were most appreciated. A real tranquil piece of Cornwall for those wanting to escape for a week.

This is an excellent cottage and equipped to a very high standard.

The cottage far exceeded our expectations and we will definitely return here.

Lovely and quiet location - so nice to return to after busy days out. You can truly relax here.

Dogs welcome and great to have easy access to a field to walk them in.

Lovely host and on arrival we had a personally handwritten card (it was our 25th wedding anniversary) together with prosecco and a delicious cake!

Highly recommended this cottage!

Well laid out and spacious, with all conveniences provided. Thoughtful touches were the provision of items such as : tea / coffee / washing-up liquid / soap dispensers in both bathrooms & kitchen / dishwasher & washing machine tablets / milk / welcome flowers. Excellent patio areas and garden in a secluded & private setting, but with the knowledge that the owner was on hand if needed.

Excellent cottage Clean tidy comfortable. Dan (owner) greeted us on arrival but then left us alone. Very stunning and would return. Thanks

Lovely cottage a real gem perfectly situated for touring North and South Cornwall. Highly recommended for a complete relax and rewind holiday.

This is an outstanding property in truly beautiful surroundings. My family had a lovely holiday at Daybreak. We would return in a heartbeat! Thanks!!

Beautiful cottage and the prosecco and freshly baked cake was gratefully received on arrival! The cottage was stunning inside and the gardens were very pretty. So glad it was dog friendly, our Scottie dog loved looking out of the big windows!

This cottage is immaculate! Everything you would want in a holiday cottage and more. Would definitely recommend booking it up. Ideal location within close proximity to dog friendly beaches and lovely pubs as well.

This is an exceptional cottage, light, warm, airy, luxurious. A wonderful find. The description was accurate but did not do it justice. It is a pity the highest we can award it is five stars as we feel it is worth more. All in all, a wonderful week in a highly recommended cottage.

Beautiful setting, restful and plenty of space to just relax.

A wonderful cottage in a stunning location. Perfectly located for the beaches of North Cornwall just a short drive away, whilst still far enough away from the bustle of the tourist hotspots for peace and quiet. The cottage has a lovely garden where the only noise that could be heard was bird song!
