We loved absolutely everything about the Shepherd's Rest. The location was perfect, we loved how remote it felt but the short cut over the fields meant you could walk to the village in just 10 minutes. The views were stunning and our dog loved running around the meadow, and we were happy knowing it was safe and secure for him. The hut was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the welcome hamper was a lovely touch. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming and helpful. This staycation was perfect for us, I think it will be difficult to beat! We will definitely be booking again!...

Perfect location and gorgeous property. So many walks through such a beautiful part of Cornwall. Very quiet spot with small village shop and pub a five minute walk away. Excellent.
Mrs Tovey October 2020
Loved the views from the hut, the tranquility, the BBQ hut, log burner and easy short walk into Lerryn to start the river walk to St Minnow. Nicola, the host, was also fabulous. Taking the time to show us the hut (as we arrived when it was dark) and making sure we had everything we needed. A perfect stay....

WOW! WOW! WOW!..The best shepherds hut EVER!!. From the amazing welcome from Nicola and Richard to the lovely treats left for me to the most comfortable bed and relaxing shower ever the hut is just perfect. You should be so proud as every inch is a credit to you and can tell this is your passion. Maisie loved her own field and the new addition of the BBQ hut is just magical. I shall definitely be back and recommending. Sarah & Maisie??...
