Very homely cottage in perfect location for exploring and walking our dogs. Beautiful enclosed garden in which we could relax in. The cottage had everything we needed and during the very hot spell we still felt comfortable and cosy. Everything was very clean and well thought out, the living room very comfy , the beds and bedding very clean and it’s a place we would like to return to again....

Ivy Cottage is a lovely and peaceful place to stay. Well furnished and well equipped, it feels like a home from home, with owners who clearly enjoy being there too. There were generous basic provisions in the kitchen for our use. The garden is private and a good size, and the conservatory overlooking it a nice place to sit during the day. Beds are comfortable and the sitting room cosy, with plenty of books. We parked easily right outside the house. We loved the village and the area too, plenty to do and see. Highlights for us included the local church, Dorchester Museum, Hive Beach and coastal walks, and Sherborne Abbey. And of course several very good pubs - sadly the local pub wasn't serving food when we stayed, but there are plenty of alternatives. A great stay, thank you. ...

We had a wonderful time at Ivy cottage ! It is a cosy cottage wich is lovely decorated and very well equiped. The village is lovely and it is easy to explore Dorset. We definitly love to come back !
