It's rare for me to give a 5 star review but Ivy Cottage was really spot on - super comfortable, clean and well equipped - and the secure garden was brilliant for the dog.

Ivy Cottage is without doubt the best provisioned cottage I have ever stayed in. Very comfortable, lovely local pub and shop, and lots of places to visit. Everyone was very friendly.

The cottage exceeded our expectations! It was lovely and warm, tastefully decorated, well-equipped with all mod-cons yet retained its country cottage feel. Comfortable furniture. We met the owner near the shop and he encouraged us to let them know of any problems. There were none! Village interesting and we had a delicious pie at the Fox and Hounds pub on Monday. Just a shame not many people there. Happy to give them custom as the staff were friendly. Village shop/P.O. Very useful, well stocked with basics and more unusual treats as well as hand crafted gifts managed by helpful staff. Fascinating church. We would definitely return as there are plenty of places to explore....
