Loverly cottage with great open plan upstairs room. Great views from large garden. Bonus of parking outside.

I found both the owners and classic very responsive when we needed them on first arrival. The cottage is beautiful and very well located for a Cornish holiday. We used the local bus service and mainly left the car at the cottage as we explored the area. Locally, the Kings Arms is a very good hostelry for food and drink, we loved the atmosphere there. We also enjoyed eating at the Godophin Arms. enjoying watching the causeway to St Michael's mount emerge as we ate dinner. The Old School Room lives up to the Classic Cottage name. It is not only Classic, but is charming, bright and welcoming. With unique decorative touches at every turn the cottage makes you feel at home. The information booklets were helpful and thorough. We would recommend this lovely cottage to anyone visiting the Marazion area of Cornwall. ...

Sainsbury’s delivered my week’s food a few hours later and I had all I needed for a great week. The cottage is comfortable and the garden has lovely views of the sea. Went to the Mount, pootled round the galleries, walked the coast path to the Cabin at Porthcurnoe, visited Treban garden, the Tremenheere Sculpture Park, picnicked in the garden, sat in the cafe and watched the boats going over to the Mount, walked the dog on the beach and caught some amazing sunsets. We were blessed with beautiful weather as we’ve been on all of our visits to Marazion. It’s my happy place, and I booked for next year the second I got home! ...
