Hire a bike and cycle along the Camel Trail heading to Padstow along the coast or inland taking you up to Bodmin Moor.
This part of Cornwall has so many wonderful beaches to discover you can try a different one.

This visit to Little Meadowside is our 9th in 7 years. We fell in love with it on our first visit and we still love it 7 years later. The owners (and Tommy the dog) are the perfect hosts and always make us so welcome. They are there on hand if you need anything, but never intrusive. I’m in danger of repeating my previous reviews, so all I’ll say is.. There’s a new plaque on the fence by the seating area outside, in the back garden and it sums up Little Meadowside perfectly.. Relax, refresh, renew. What more could you ask for… Little Meadowside delivers, and so much more. ...

Little Meadowside is one of those special, rare places which are so hard to find. It’s quietly situated overlooking beautiful countryside (who knew the sky was so big!) and yet within 10 minutes walk of the centre of Wadebridge. It’s perfectly positioned for access to all areas of Cornwall, both coastal and inland. The owners are amazing, the perfect hosts… always so welcoming, there if you need anything, but never intrusive. We have stayed at Little Meadowside every year since 2018 and each holiday has been as perfect as the one before. We’re still finding new things to do with each visit. Little Meadowside is the perfect place to escape to and unwind. We’ve been visiting for 6 years and still feel an amazing sense of relaxation and chilling out, as we sit in the conservatory with our first cup of tea, looking out over the fields. The property is in a lovely, peaceful location, overlooking countryside and yet is only 10 minutes walk from the centre of Wadebridge. Its location is ideal for visiting places all over Cornwall....
