We received a letter from the house manager about a month before our arrival date providing additional information as well as offering some special options that we may like for our stay, to which we replied. We also called the week before arrival to confirm that all was in order. On arrival our access was very easy, as was our exit with good communication all round. The house was well prepared including some provisions which made for a great start. All in all a most pleasant stay, highly recommended....

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts on Lakeside House. We're so sorry that you found some aspects of the house weren't quite right for your party. Whilst the playroom does contain a Nintendo Wii, unfortunately due to Covid 19 guidance the number of games and toys has been pared back to allow for sanitisation and cleaning between guests. We aim for them to gradually be phased back in as guidance allows, but we're really sorry if this caused any disappointment. The property does offer many other family friendly items items such as bouncy chairs, play mats, a food blender, bottle warmer, steriliser, and even a pushchair to try to make the holiday experience a little easier for parents of young children. Second time here, we love the property and the peaceful surroundings. The cottage itself is very well equipped. The second oven and freezer were a welcome addition for a bigger family too. All the beds and sofas were very comfortable too
