Lakeside House is amazing, it has a peaceful tranquility about it even though it’s only 3 miles from Cullompton. It’s bright, clean, spacious and comfortable with everything needed for any type of holiday; there’s plenty to do in the area if you want activity or if you want a peaceful retreat you can stay in. I was a bit apprehensive about spending 7 days there because everyone was fishing except me, however, this is definitely not just a fishing holiday! Walks around the lakes taking pictures of the sun rising, misty mornings, birdsong and sunsets would appeal to any photographer or painter; tranquil days if you want to sit by the beautiful lakes reading or writing and plenty of room in the house for taking hobbies. This is our second visit to Lakeside House - absolutely stunning! House has everything you could wish for, location is great with lots of places to visit.
