The Bull Pen

Excellent property, it had all the facilities and equipment you could need whilst away. Owners were friendly with a quick check to make sure all was OK a day or two into our stay......Phil kindly took myself and my 5yr old inquisitive boy around the working dairy farm to see the cows and the calves. This was a massive hit, and sparked huge appreciation of the farming world through this small glimpse. The cottage is near a Royal Navy Air Station, a huge hit seeing the occasional helicopter and planes around....

We had a great time at the Bull Pen. The owner, Paul, is a lovely chap! We had a small problem with the gate latch and were in the process of contacting him about it, but before we did he'd fixed it! The Bull Pen was immaculately clean, very well equipped with a lovely large-sized , sunny garden which our boys loved playing football in. Lovely, quiet location and exceptionally well placed. Avoids all the busy areas and so quick to get to Kynance Cove, The Lizard, Mullion and others. We had a fantastic Easter there enjoying cliff walks, our boys climbing beach rocks, ice creams and lovely Cornish pub lunches. The tv is not a smart tv but does have Netflix which was great. The bedrooms downstairs overlook the farm barns but we were mainly upstairs in lounge/diner area with view of fields in distance. The property was really spacious and peaceful. Everything had been thought of. Thanks to the owners for a wonderful holiday base! ...

We have just returned from a super week staying at the Bull Pen. From the minute we arrived we felt at home and found the property to be lovely and light and spacious. Everything we needed plus more was there for our comfort and convenience. The owners of the property were warm and friendly people and we will definitely return. The property is ideally situated for visiting all the beautiful places this area of Cornwall has to offer. ...

We had a lovely relaxing week staying in The Bull Pen. It is a lovely upside down cottage, perfect for a family or couples. The enclosed garden is great for small children and dogs. We found the cottage to be ideally located for getting to our favourite places, especially with Chuch Cove/Dollar Cove being only 10 minutes down the road. Local dog friendly beaches at Dollar Cove, Kennack sands (2nd beach over) and Coverack are all easy to get to. Would definitely recommend staying here. ...
