The little church at Church Cove, more recently made famous by the BBC series Poldark, is a few minutes down the road, with National Trust parking nearby.
Sandy at low tide and lifeguarded in high season plus toilets and a little hut serving snacks and drinks.
Build sandcastles or pebble towers, dip your toes in the water or surf the waves, the choice is yours.
Pretty Porthleven harbour is only five miles away. This 'foodie' place has lots of cafes, restaurants and quaint shops.
The Helford River has much to offer the visitor whether you like to explore by foot or on the water.
Kynance Cove is a highlight of The Lizard Peninsula.

Coverack Bay has a lovely sandy beach and a windsurfing school.

The Cow Shed was a lovely place to stay! Comfortable, cosy and well equipped with everything we needed. We particularly appreciated the baby bits provided, which made our holiday with our toddler so much easier. The location is great, rural and peaceful, but not isolated, and perfect for beaches and other local attractions. We highly recommend and hope to visit again in the future! ...

Wonderful spacious barn conversion set in the countryside with modern decor and appliances. The beds are really comfortable and an onsuite in each bedroom is great. The upsidedown layout works really well and with a wonderful picture window looking out towards Goon-hilly Downs. It is also well situated for travelling around west Cornwall as it is only about a mile from main roads. Highly recommended....
